Ekiti State chapter of APDA suspends chairman

The interim chairperson of the newly-created Advanced Peoples democratic Alliance (APDA) Ekiti State chapter, Mrs Foluke Okeya has been suspended by the party.

A statement on Thursday signed by the interim deputy chairman of the party, Tunde Agbabiaka, and interim women mobilizer, Mrs Mercy Ilesanmi and ‘chairman of chairmen’, Boboye Ajibade, revealed Mrs Okeya was suspended at the party’s State Executive Committee (SEC) for alleged anti-party activities, misconduct and abuse of office.

The party had set up a five-man panel to investigate the alleged offences, the statement said adding that Mrs. Okeya would “remain suspended pending the submission of the panel’s report.”
