Linkin Park’s lead singer, Chester Bennington’s  autopsy results released

Rock lovers were thrown into shock with the news of Linkin Park’s lead singer, Chester Bennington’s death after he committed suicide in July this year.

Now, the result of his autopsy has been released and it showed that the Linkin Park lead singer had minimal amounts of alcohol in his system before he hanged himself.

Based on one test, the 41-year-old’s blood also tested “presumptive positive” for ecstasy and two additional tests did not detect the drug. Thus,  authorities concluded that the singer was not under the influence of drugs at the time of his death.

The autopsy report also revealed  that authorities found a prescription bottle of Zolpidem, a generic Ambien, on Bennington’s dresser, in addition to a pint glass of Corona and an empty bottle of Stella Artois. It was gathered that police officers also found fingernail fragments underneath his iPhone and on a bedside table.
